FMP Match 3 game

Match Quest is a Match 3 game inspired by Bejewelled and also Candy Crush. The player has unlimited time to get as much score as humanly possible by matching together the same shapes. Players can also get more score by matching together 4 or more shapes to create bombs which will destroy more shapes on the board  when matched.

Controls:

click on a shape and swipe left, right, up, or down while holding your mouse on the shape and dragging it into one of the 4 directions.

Research:

In terms of research, I have looked into games like bejewelled, candy crush, and zuma to name a few, I have looked at these games to get some inspiration in terms of what mechanics I could add into my game. I have also created a survey that people can answer. The survey involves questions that impact the development of the game.
